Our firm offers advice on pre-merger notifications as well as on mergers’ clearance. We can undertake the drafting and filing of merger notifications of proposed concentrations with the Cyprus Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC) as regards mergers and acquisitions for Phase I and Phase II and represent clients in order to secure the requisite approvals.
In addition, we can provide advice on anti-trust matters, such as pricing, dominance and abusive conduct, cartel and state aid and represent companies involved in cartel or abuse of dominance/monopolisation investigations before the CPC.
We may further assist clients involved in proceedings before the CPC or the competent courts of the Republic of Cyprus (administrative recourse before the Supreme Court of Cyprus, civil litigation in district courts), in order to assert and/ or defend rights in antitrust cases (anti-competitive agreements and concerted practices, as well as abuse of dominance cases).
